People enter an event, not a tournament. Each event can carry its own fee.
An event is one age group, one gender and one type, such as Boys U15 Singles.
Use the quick add option to create a standard set, then remove what you are not running.
The tournament fee applies to every event unless you set a fee on the event itself.
A doubles event is entered by a pair. One pair is one entry and one fee, not two.
Open the tournament and go to the Categories tab.
Use Quick add standard set to create the usual events in one step.
Then delete the ones you are not running. That is faster than adding them one at a time.
Add any event the standard set does not cover.
Use Entry fee by type if singles and doubles cost different amounts.
Leaving a fee blank means the event uses the tournament fee.
One pair is a single entry with a single fee. Set the doubles fee to what the pair pays in total, not to what each player pays.
A player outside the age band is refused automatically and told why. You do not need to check birth dates by hand.
An event with no fee of its own falls back to the tournament fee. To make an event free, set its fee to zero.
Ask India provides the tournament software only and does not host or organise any tournament. KBA is solely responsible for its tournaments, rules, players, entries, fees and conduct.
